Direct to fabric (DTF) printing and screen printing are both popular methods for printing designs onto fabric. Here are some advantages of DTF printing over screen printing:

  1. Complex Designs: DTF printing allows for more intricate and detailed designs compared to screen printing. This is because DTF printing is a digital printing process where designs are directly printed onto the fabric from a digital file. Screen printing, on the other hand, involves creating stencils for each color in the design, which can limit the complexity of the design, especially when dealing with fine details.
  2. Color Variations: DTF printing offers more flexibility in terms of color variations. With digital printing, it's easier to print a wide range of colors, gradients, and shades without the need for separate screens or color mixing. In contrast, screen printing requires separate screens for each color in the design, which can be time-consuming and costly, especially for designs with multiple colors or gradients.
  3. Shorter Setup Time: DTF printing typically has a shorter setup time compared to screen printing. Since DTF printing is a digital process, there's no need to create screens or perform color separations, which can save time and reduce setup costs, especially for small production runs or custom designs.
  4. Print-on-Demand Capability: DTF printing lends itself well to print-on-demand services and customization. Since designs can be printed directly from digital files, it's easier to produce custom designs or print small batches of products without the need for costly setup or minimum order quantities. This makes DTF printing ideal for businesses that offer personalized or customized products.
  5. Versatility: DTF printing can be used on a wide range of fabrics, including cotton, polyester, blends, and even synthetic materials like nylon and spandex. This versatility allows for greater flexibility in product offerings and applications compared to screen printing, which may be more limited in the types of fabrics it can effectively print on.

Overall, DTF printing offers advantages in terms of design complexity, color variations, setup time, print-on-demand capabilities, and versatility compared to screen printing.

DTF printing can be considered relatively eco-friendly compared to traditional screen printing methods, as it typically produces less waste and uses fewer chemicals in the printing process.

300 dpi / resolution minimum and if possible save in CYMK mode

Short answer is that printers and monitors produce colors in different ways.

Monitors use RGB (Red, Green, Blue) and printers use CYMK (Cyan, Yellow, Magenta, Black).

CYMK general hits mid 80's of the percent of a match that RGB makes. Typically the CYMK produces a color that it can not make from the RGB in which the CYMK believes is closest to that RGB color.

PDF is a general format that most have availability to use.

For more advance users: Vector or .svg works great.

Once I have received the file, our next step is to show you a proof of your (or the design we made for you) file on the item you would like to place it upon. Once you have approved, we will order the item(s) in which we require half down in payment. Once it has shipped to our location, it will be roughly 2 to 3 weeks before items are able to be picked up or shipped . This having been said, if it is able to be completed faster, it will but we want to make sure to put the expectations up front. For whatever reason on our side we see it taking longer will we inform you in these rare occasions and thank you for your understanding.
